We request that you notify us of any particular requirements regarding the date of the move

The scheduled arrival time for the team.
  • Our standard arrival time at the site is typically set between 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM.
  • Except as otherwise agreed upon
  • Parking restrictions
  • The responsibility for parking lies solely with the customer.
  • Convenient parking is located near the property.
  • If you find yourself in need of suspensions, we can arrange them for you, or you can contact your local council to do it yourself.
  • We will collect fee £50 as admin fee + council charges
  • Make sure to get in touch 7 to 10 working days ahead of your move to organize any suspensions.
  • Stairs/ flights of stairs etc.
  • If there are any access problems with the video surveys, please let us know.

  • Let us know if the elevators are working order
  • Packing your own personal belongings
  • Our insurance does not cover valuable items like cash, jewelry, watches, and important documents. It is your responsibility to arrange for their transport.
  • Remember to have your important keys with you, particularly your car keys.
  • Furniture
  • We generally dismantle and reassemble furniture unless there are different instructions.
  • If there are essential items like beds and wardrobes, we will include this in the quoted price.
  • If there are any awkward or time-consuming tasks, we will inform you of additional charges when we provide the quote.
  • If you’re disassembling your furniture, remember to note where the screws are located.
  • It’s recommended to stick them back to the original furniture.
  • Pets and children
  • On moving day, pets can feel anxious and may interfere with our work. It's a good plan to keep them in one room or, even better, ask friends or family to look after them.
  • This can also apply to small children
  • High value items
  • If there is anything worth more than £5,000, we need to be informed and it should be declared when booking.
  • This is so we can insure these items separately
  • We have full insurance, but we only cover up to £40 for each item if it gets damaged or lost. You can choose to increase your coverage to £50,000, but this will cost extra
  • If you want an inventory for items in storage, please tell us when you make your booking.

    Packing
    If You selected only removal, make sure you are packed and ready to go when the crew gets there.
  • If you are unprepared, you might face extra fees.
  • Black bags are not great for stacking and can take up extra space in the moving truck.
  • Ensure that the boxes are labeled correctly, preferably indicating where you want them to go in your new home.
    • On the day of move we will usually bring :-
  • Bubble wrap
  • Blankets
  • Bags to protect mattresses
  • Sofa covers
  • Boxes
  • Remember to prepare boxes and packaging items before the day of the move.
  • Ensure you choose high-quality boxes, as single-wall boxes are often weak and can break easily.
  • If you need suspensions, we can help set this up for you, or you can handle it with your local council.
  • Banana boxes are unsuitable as they fail to stack efficiently.
  • We can provide boxes, and if they aren't mentioned in the quote, you can buy them from us at a special rate.
  • Pack boxes appropriately

    Make sure to use enough packaging to safeguard delicate items. The main idea is that nothing should move around in the boxes, and if the box is dropped, everything should stay intact.

    Fragile Packing
  • We will bring the right boxes on the day to pack just the delicate items.
  • If you need boxes for the rest of the property, please let us know when you book.
  • Additional charges will be applied if boxes are not part of the quote.
  • If you include boxes, we will set up a suitable time for delivery after you pay your deposit and confirm your quote.
  • Boxes

  • Should there be any tasks that are awkward or take a lot of time, extra fees may be added, and we will let you know during the quoting process.
  • If you’re taking your furniture apart, remember to note where the screws are located.

  • Packing the remainder (Non Fragile Items)
  • You are responsible for getting the rest of the property packed and ready to go.
  • Ensure that the items you packed are marked for the rooms where they will go.
  • What’s included
  • Usually everything is included in the quote.
  • Boxes, materials, labour, vehicles etc...
  • We will bring everything with us on the day of the move.
  • Usually 90% of the items will be loaded on the 1st day.
  • If you have any items you need, please put them aside and inform us not to include them in the packing.
  • Long distance moves
  • When going 200 miles or more, we usually make it an overnight trip.
  • We will pack and load on the first day and travel. The second day will be for delivery and returning. This is a standard approach, but it can differ depending on your moving requirements.
  • This is the top-tier service where you can unwind and enjoy. We just need you to handle a few things

  • When you do an inventory, you are owning up to what you are sharing with us.
  • We will give you quotes based on the details you provided.
  • Please be clear and detailed
  • We will charge if the move is not accurately described in the inventory sheet.
  • Let us know about any restrictions early, so we can prepare accordingly.
  • Please note
  • All payments should be completed 5 days prior to the moving day.
  • Payments are accepted through bank transfer, credit card, debit card, and cash.
  • Cheques will take 7 working days for cheques to clear.
  • A cheque is acceptable for the deposit, but we do not accept it for the final balance.
  • Cancellations
    Cancellation or change of date will inculude the following charges :-
    • Within 5 days - 35% of total move value
    • Within 3 days - 50% of the total move value
    • Within 1 day prior to move - 75% of move value
    • On the day of move - 100% of the move valueParking
